Preowned CHANEL Vintage Coco Mark Circle 93A Brooch GP | Luxe Again Maison

CHANEL Vintage Coco Mark Circle 93A Brooch GP

$2,500.00 AUD

Preloved CHANEL Vintage Coco Mark Circle 93A Brooch GP

This CHANEL Coco Mark Circle Brooch from the 93A collection presents beautifully for its age, carrying the character and warmth only a true vintage piece can offer.

The gold plating remains intact throughout, with surface scratches visible on close inspection across the twisted rope border and interlocking CC motif. These marks are entirely consistent with a piece of this era and soften pleasingly under natural light, adding to its authentic vintage appeal rather than detracting from it. The sculptural rope frame retains its crisp definition, and the iconic CC centrepiece displays no bending or structural concerns.

On the reverse, the clasp is solid and fully functional, opening and closing securely. Marks are visible as expected for a vintage piece, and the 93A stamping confirms its early 1990s provenance.

Please examine all photos carefully, as they form an integral part of the condition description.

Please note: colour may appear different in photos and in person due to lighting and screen settings; be mindful of this when assessing the shade.

We video-record each step of packing and provide end-to-end tracking to maintain a secure chain of custody from our showroom to your door.

This piece is pre-owned and preloved, so mild signs of use are to be expected. We’ve photographed and described every notable mark to ensure you know exactly what you’re getting before you buy.

Why We Love

Why We Love the CHANEL Vintage Coco Mark Circle 93A Brooch

A Whisper from 1993

Some pieces announce themselves. Others arrive quietly, carrying three decades of history in the palm of your hand. This brooch belongs to the second kind. Stamped 93A, it was born in Chanel's Autumn 1993 collection, an era when Karl Lagerfeld was reimagining the house codes with a boldness that still reverberates through fashion today. Hold it and you hold a fragment of that moment.

The Rope That Binds

Look closely at the frame. A twisted rope of gold plated metal circles the design, each coil catching the light like braided silk frozen in metal. The rope motif is pure Chanel, a nod to the maritime threads that ran through Gabrielle Chanel's earliest designs, from Deauville stripes to gilt chain straps. Here it becomes a wreath, encircling the emblem it was always destined to protect.

Two Letters, Infinite Meaning

At the centre, the interlocking CC sits with quiet authority. No embellishment, no distraction, just the most recognisable monogram in fashion rendered in smooth, sculptural gold. Vintage Coco Mark pieces from this period have a weight and presence that modern costume jewellery rarely matches. The metal feels substantial. The proportions feel considered. This is jewellery made to last lifetimes, not seasons.

The Glow Only Time Can Give

New gold shines. Vintage gold glows. The surface of this brooch carries the soft patina of thirty years, a mellow warmth that flatters every skin tone and fabric it touches. Under candlelight it smoulders. In daylight it gleams with the gentle confidence of something that has nothing left to prove. You cannot manufacture this finish. You can only wait for it.

A Styling Chameleon

Pin it to the lapel of a black blazer and watch the whole silhouette sharpen. Fasten it at the shoulder of a silk scarf, the band of a felt hat, the neckline of a little black dress. Some of our clients wear theirs on the strap of a handbag, others thread it onto a chain as a pendant. A brooch this graphic and this balanced refuses to be limited to one life. It adapts, it elevates, it endures.

Rarer Than You Think

Vintage Chanel costume jewellery from the early nineties is becoming genuinely scarce. Pieces were produced in limited quantities, and those that survive are often hidden away in private collections. Each year the pool shrinks and the desirability climbs. Buying now is not just an indulgence. It is a quiet act of foresight.
